Why do we need to spend money to run ethernet cables to a hub if most of devices and desktops are WIFI ready? This could be true if you are working in very small space and most of time involving surfing internet and answering simply e-mail. WIFI is definitely a convenient internet connection to mobile devices. But in the case that large files such as construction drawings to upload or download, that wouldn’t be possible. Ethernet setup will provide a reliable and constant speed connection to a fixed location such as a workstation. In order to play on-line game or work required to link to software loaded at server, an ethernet connection is a must. Ethernet connection will enable transfer of large files to another device very much faster than WIFI connection.
